E-Basics Student Version
E-Basics which stands for Entrepreneurship Basics, is a starter toolkit which contains comprehensive, context based learning on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. The E-Basics Student Version is an online, self paced, entrepreneurship training for students, which aims to develop in the participants a clear understanding regarding all the key fundamental concepts associated with initiating, running and developing an enterprise.
The E-Basics Student version is supplemented with an additional 20 hour optional CD based/online, self paced context based technology aided training which aims to train the participants on appropriate and relevant technology usage so as to enable and empower them to get started, develop and run their business more effectively and efficiently with appropriate technology usage. Though this training is optional, it is interwoven with the E-Basics Student Version training and at various junctures of the E-Basics training, interested participants are asked to first complete sections of specific technology training before proceeding further with their E-Basics training.
The target audience for the E-Basics Student Version course are students/out of school adolescents and young people in the age group of 16-25 years with a minimum secondary school level education qualification, good digital literacy skills as well as a passion for exploring the idea of setting up an enterprise of their own.
The E-Basics course as well as the technology aided supplement are designed for usage by adolescents and young adults. As such the course delivers the training in a fun and interactive manner interspersed with examples, case studies and other interesting and interactive activities. In the course of this learning, participants also refer back to their own handbook and continuously develop and strengthen their own business idea so that at the end of the training they may have with them a well thought out business idea and plan for their own enterprise, as well as a clear understanding regarding all the fundamentals of setting up and running a venture of their own.
Being a CD based/online self paced training, participants have the flexibility of completing the course at their own pace and time. Moreover participants also have the option to revisit certain learning modules to refresh their knowledge or further practise certain skill sets.
The E-Basics Student Version consists of the following three 3 segments:
- Getting started in Business
- Developing your Business
- Running your Business

Supplement to E-Basics Training: 20 hours: Technology Aided Training
